A beautiful mixture between fantasy and real-world relatable elements. Environments are gorgeous. Plenty to explore, nor do I really think it's possible to find all the interesting caves and structures unless hundreds of hours are spent in the four regions. Exercise caution when exploring, as stumbling upon even one enemy unexpectedly can be disastrous. The developers and the community keep reminding people that your character is merely a person, and as a player you have to keep telling yourself that. A polar opposite to a character in Dynasty Warriors. Fights need preparation, for the most part, and being tactful is your main weapon. The stability bar is more important than the HP bar in my opinion. If you can reduce an enemy's stability bar to half, then your hits will interrupt/stagger them. Reducing a stability bar to zero results in them falling to the ground, where you can get extra hits in as they get up with a full stability bar again. But sometimes, anticipating the stability bar regenerating to about half before hitting them again will be better, as being able to stagger or interrupt your opponent can be more beneficial than just knocking them down. Ask yourself, do you have any knowledge of the enemy's behavior? Should you sneak up from behind for first strike? Do you have anything that has high impact that can reduce their stability to half at the start of the fight? If they are in a group, how can you separate them? Can you set up traps? Should you drink a potion or eat something to give yourself the advantage? One enemy race tends to oppose another, so can you lead one enemy into another enemy and have them fight each other? These are all questions that should be addressed before fighting. But maybe the largest question of all is, is the fight worth it? Or, Is the fight mandatory?

Enjoy learning the game. The journey is more important than the destination. There is no set pace. The only thing I suggest is thoroughly exploring the initial town of Cierzo at the start.

A great game that can starve you of resources if it so chooses, especially in higher difficulties. You can be in situations where you are forced to share ammo and discuss who is carrying what in your group, because you are limited to four inventory slots. You can be excited to stumble upon a powerful gun, but you have to think what your odds are of finding ammo for it. Sometimes it's better to grab weapons that your group (or you) has ammo for, even if they are weaker. Also consider those weapons that have flashlights or if you have access to a pocket light. This game does require some thought, even on Normal difficulty in my opinion.

I also like how the maps can change with each iteration. Your objectives may also change, so one play through on a map may not occur again the next time you play the same map. The community is small, but not dead, as many comments are suggesting. People can be found in Discussions, and I regularly play with strangers on the New York servers on Escape mode. I have yet to play the other modes, so I cannot comment on them. These modes and other features of the game are somewhat properly outlined in the other comments.

I think split screen is also worth mentioning. Two people can play split screen horizontally or vertically, keyboard and controller, or controller and controller. Split screen can also be played online or on a LAN/locally. My 10 year old machine runs the game in split screen just fine.

I recommend purchasing this game.

Girlfriend and I played for an hour so far and are impressed with the simplistic controls, beautiful graphics, and the just-right difficulty of the puzzles. I can see how this game is great for couples.

I quickly had fun playing this game. Be sure to go into the Discussions to make yourself known in the small community. Friend some players through Steam, grab some real-life friends and family members, and start playing. This game can combine local and online multiplayer. 8 slots fills quick!
