The game is very stylish with wonderful art and music. You will enjoy your trip through a very strange artistic world. Not much of a story it's a typical save the world and avenge your lost love. The story is pieced together along your linear adventure and the story is as "odd" as the artstyle of the game. The game does get you emotionally involved so you feel invested in what happens to you and the world around you.

The gameplay is fun with lots of experimentation to suit your playstyle. The combat is a mix of real time and turn based. Turn based combat is what the game is really about as your character becomes much more powerful when you activate your turn timer and plan out your movements and attacks. You have 4 main attacks but it's much more then it seems because you get to customize what your attacks can do in battle. This is where you decide how you want to battle and build you character around the hundreds of possible combinations.

The enemies are unique but the game can get easy as your character grows in strength but it has a smart solution to this. You can slap handicaps in your character by installing limiters which can also be removed if you find it makes the game too difficult. Here the player can decide how hard to make the game for themselves instead of the usual easy, medium, hard. Each limiter gives a different handicap such as shrinking your memory stats or boosting your enemies attack, etc. I believe there are 12 limiters you can install and you decide which to install or remove. The limiters reward you with bonus xp and points but then again it's mostly bragging rights as you will have probably collected all XP you need to unlock all the abilities near the end of the game.

There is a bit or replayability as you may wish to experiment with new attack customizations to turn your character into a different kind of fighting machine. All in all the game is definately worth purchasing. Give it a try!
