If you want to play a game for the graphics, or for a heavy amount of playtime, it's not for you.

What this game does offer, however, is a storyline which isn't too deep, but at the same time gives you just the right amount of depth to keep you pulled in and entertained. I have played and beat this game, and the story and characters will never leave my memory any time soon. This is one game that I can honestly say that I feel like I had a real connection with the characters.

The game mechanics are also wonderful. There are always great little quirks and easter eggs in the battle systems that keep you digging for more. I can tell that a profound amount of love (no caps!) was put into the creation of this game. The ending had me tipping over the edge of my seat, and my emotions were all over the place.

In summary, this game is well worth the time and money, if you so choose to vest in it. I have not yet explored all of the potential paths you can take (mainly because I can't bring myself to do it now!) but from the samples I have seen of the other choices you can make, the game is always giving you new and interesting choices to make.

If you want to look at a space station with the exact same furniture configured in 50 different ways, this is the game for you. I think I would much rather go on a tour to visit every single Ikea store in the world. At least then I could have more choice. This game is also optimized probably about as well as a wrecked-somewhere-down-the-line thirty-year-old Ford Pinto. Which with the lacking amount of interactive features you have with the ship, you might as well be flying through space in one. Save your money and buy a game which at least tries to have some sort of entertainment value. I really tried to like this game, but I can't help but feel more regret every time I think of other better ways I could have spent my money.
