Take the zombie survival of 'Dead Island' but set it in the fictional city of Harran. Add in some parkour to use all those buildings to your advantage. It definitely works. Playing it solo or with the 4 player online co-op it is loads of fun. The developers, Techland, have improved on just about every aspect of their Dead Island series.

'The Following' DLC adds an entire expansion sized map and storyline set in the rural area outside the city. You acquire an upgradeable car and driving skill tree to navigate the zombie infested countryside. It is included in the Enchanced Edition and I felt it was worth the extra.

Definitely some great zombie slaughtering fun all around

I have played a lot of TDs in my years. This is absolutely one of the best. If you enjoy TDs and haven't picked this up I have to ask: why not?
