Stick with the originals with fixes and mods if you have it, otherwise this purchase is 'adequate' if you're looking to replay it.

Cons:
1, Always on DRM with rockstar social.
2. Bugs are prevalent, some missions won't proceed unless you restart it a couple of times and force triggers in creative ways.
3. Character models look like garbage for a remaster.
4. Performance is oddly terrible unless you turn down draw distance.
5. Audio compression borderline hurts the ears... like crackling on some audio clips.
6. Maps are cumbersome to open.

Pros:
The story is playable and passable.
Polygon count increased so it does look better overall.

The game is now no longer playable due to Rockstar's new piece of garbage launcher. The game will no longer start, I spent 20 minutes troubleshooting it and honestly didn't feel like any more of my time should be wasted on a game that was working fine weeks ago. Rockstar is a terrible developer with a horrible track record in recent years. Would not recommend getting any of their newer games.

Total and complete trash, don't waste your money on a game that won't even run anymore.
