Bought it cos, visually, it looked better than some of the other options I thought might be fun for my kid. Cars are difficult to control, too easy to come off the track and when you do, go make a cup of tea, then find a map* so you can navigate your way back to the track. *map not available. If it reset your car back onto the track with a small time penalty it might be fun.

I was hesitant to purchase this game due to the price being higher than a lot of other 2D puzzle games but I'm glad I did. I'm a fan of the genre and the first 2D push-the-blocks puzzle game I played was over 30 years ago, yet this one brings something new with it. The puzzles are a nice difficulty, some of which are playable by my 5yo son, others leave me scratching my head for a while. There is an element of repetition to the puzzles but for me it's a good thing which aids learning the mechanics of the game play. The graphics are okay, the animations are a nice touch which draws you into the game. My only minor criticism, is that the puzzles sometimes feel like they could do with being within a more expansive arena, when compared with other 2D puzzlers, they can be a little confined (in spite of the recursion enlarging the space in which you navigate your character around). Overall though, I'm really enjoying the game, recommended.

I'm only a casual gamer and my platform of choice is Linux so for me this game has been pretty much the only decent option for playable car racing simulation games. I initially found the AI very frustrating but once you get used to them they're easy enough to work around. For this game to be enjoyable however, you do need the ability to be able to control your car!

If you're not a seasoned car race simulation gamer then just take it easy and start off with all the helpers, traction control, ABS, easy AI, etc, and once you're more confident begin turning the helpers off. I'm currently only using ABS now, with the AI on medium and am really enjoying the game and slowly progressing through the career mode.

The graphics and engine noise are capable, but the commentary when you first start is very irritating, but if you're doing well it can be modestly encouraging. The tuning capability of the cars is very basic which I'm hoping will improve as my career progresses but I'm not holding my breath on that count, it's not the most important thing to me.

I really enjoyed playing the demo of this game, exploring the landscape, lazering rocks, and figuring how to reach interesting places. Barely any of that is recognizable in the game itself however. The game isn't about exploration at all, it follows a quite linear path, and now I'm stuck on my way from 'a' to 'b' on a bridge, with some little git throwing huge rocks at my head. Everytime I respawn I have three seconds to avoid another falling on my head, and a further 3 seconds before the next, which is the type of near-impossible (for me) challenge I can't really be bothered with.

I feel a bit ambivilant about recommending the game, it didn't meet my expectations. Imagine if it was this crossed with Kairo, that would be more like it for me.

I like everything about this game except the difficulty. I'm only a very casual gamer so I'd probably get on better with the die-less edition, but everything else about it appeals to me, just a shame I'm no good at it.

Fantastic game. No regret spending the money on it. It keeps suprising me. Other reviewers have mentioned loneliness while playing this game, and the coldness of the game's environment. But what they failed to miss is the feeling of safety. You're not going to die playing this game. You can stand there pondering over what to do and nothings going to creep round the corner and blast you into a thousand pieces... At least that's what I'm lead to believe through my experience so far,.. It can be a little frustrating at times but then it is a puzzle game. Love it.

Bit crap really. And crashes. Apparently I was supposed to draw a picture when presented with white boxes. Obviously. Duh. Now I'm just stuck with a mountain which does nothing, just like I did, apparently, until it came to friendship where I made some demented scrawls. Great. Currently my mountain has a bed on it which I can pick up and plonk back down in an uncontrollable manner. Brilliant. So what I'm supposed to go back to sleep am I? Perhaps that explains the processor usage - it's the AI. I think not.
