The most complete hat simulator available for the PC today, this game contains hundreds of hats and other items of clothing. Customisation options are plentiful with the ability to paint hats and change styles.

To collect hats, you need to play a series of mini-games for several hours each week or purchase crate keys. Playing the mini-games allows you to collect weapons, which can be melted down into metal and ultimately traded or crafted into hats.

Although the mini-games are clearly an afterthought, with the main focus of the game being hats, they are quite fun with nice 3D graphics and great voice acting - a nice distraction whilst waiting for your next hat!

A word of warning - the free to play version does not allow hat trading. Hat lovers will definitely want to upgrade to the premium version.

A wonderfully immersive RPG / 3rd person shooter with an epic sci-fi story arc that spans 3 games. You can import your saved games from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2 so it's worth playing the games in order. The Mass Effect games are single player only - the first two games will provide over 40 hours of gameplay.

Highly recommended and often reduced in price by Steam sales.

This game is #1 on IGN's list of top 100 modern video games.
