This is a cute but not terribly difficult little puzzle game. With each robot having a unique skill, it makes for some clever little puzzles, as well as some horribly obvious ones. It's not a bad play, but probably won't take you more than an hour or two to get through. Even while looking for all the collectibles.

I believe I got it as part of a humble bundle, which made it just a nice little adventure. Not sure I would've gone out of my way to purchase this on its own.

This was gifted to me by a friend who knew I loved nonograms/picross games.
Consequently, I played it almost obsessively for a bit until every puzzle had been finished, every achievement achieved.

I was concerned at first, as I've seen plenty of picross games that have been horribly put together as cheap attempt to get a few sales from fans of the puzzle type.

However, this turned out to be a pretty polished game with intuitive controls and helpful features. Definitely recommend.

I have pretty mixed feelings about this series. On the one hand, I greatly enjoyed Episode One and Two. The comic book style is quite endearing, and plot is pretty interesting. Humor is on point, as can be expected from Penny Arcade as a whole.

However, the fact that the developer and overall style of Episode Three and Four changed makes me want to caution new players from diving into this world. I could not bring myself to finish Three, as the enjoyment died off entirely. The latter half of the series looks like it was made in RPG maker, which by itself isn't a drawback, but is pretty stock combat/features with no flair. The storytelling/humor seems to have left the series entirely but that point.

One and Two are definitely still worth playing, even if you don't plan to play the rest, but it seems pretty hit or miss as to whether people enjoy the latter two. You've been warned.

I'm a fan of the older LEGO games before they started adding voice acting.
This one thankfully does not add voices, giving you the wonderful experience of watching LEGO characters act out cutscenes with only grunts and gestures, leading to some hilarious cutscenes.

The main draw of the LEGO games as a whole for me is their unique humor and attention to details. Gameplay can get pretty repetitive. You often have to go back and redo levels multiple times once you've unlocked more characters in order to find all the collectables. If you're a perfectionist, this can lead to a fair amount of frustration.

Honestly, the game is most fun if you play with a friend, and just enjoy the ride without obsessing about finding every little detail. But there IS plenty to find for those who do want 100% it.

The main downside is that there is still no online multiplayer, only local.

Finished 12/15 levels, and just stopped caring.
Controls are super floaty. Awkward for necessar short jumps. Environment frequently gets out of sync and makes it impossible to 'learn' a level as platforms and hazards won't be where you expect them. Often they get so far out of sync that a level is simply unbeatable unless you want to wait around for blades to get back into some sort of cycle that you can actually bypass. Combined with time limits, this is just an awful experience.

This game is merely to be played for the novelty of playing as ♥♥♥♥, used as prank gifts to streamers you want to see suffer through terrible controls, or for masochists who happen to enjoy poorly designed platformers.

Let's be honest, if you're looking at this, you've most likely already played Myst and are looking for a nostalgia kick.
That, it delivers. With improved graphics. Improved. Not great, not even good by today's standards. Just improved.
The bonus age just gets 'tacked on' at the end and alludes to the sequel. Not especially creative, but a fun little addition.

The 'free roam' actually makes the game more difficult in a sense, as you no longer have the rails focusing you on a specific section making it easier for you to overlook items.

The day/night cycle just ended up being annoying, as night was obnoxiously difficult to see in, even with the flashlight.

If you for some reason haven't played it and are just trying to figure out whether to get Myst, realMyst, Myst Masterpiece, or realMyst: Masterpiece... Well that alone should warn you that these are clearly remakes with the sole intention of getting additional money out of the series. Do what feels right for you. Or whichever is the cheapest/on sale. The story and puzzles are the same either way.


That being said, it was still enjoyable, and I'd recommend it for anyone who has an active interest in the Myst story.

This game remains one of my favorite games played in 2017.
It's hard to say much about the game without 'spoiling' it, but it truly is a unique experience.
Characters are relatable, art is gorgeous, music is lovely.

You'll find yourself wanting to play through a second time.
And you'll undoubtedly discover more about the story as you do.

This game is the cat's meow.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys cats, terrible puns, and obvious references to other games and media.

Pros:
Fun and accessible combat mechanics, adorable art, amusing writing style, large open world.

Cons:
Not an especially challenging or long game, and there is a TON of just running back and forth across the map.
