Albeit a simple concept, Chime turns into a pretty addictive game quite fast. The Tetris-like gameplay combined with the hypnotic music kept me hooked for far longer than I expected. The only thing I disliked was how short it was - there are only six different songs to pick from, among them Still Alive by Jonathan Coulton. This game simply cries out for more songs to be added at a later date, but for that one can only hope.

Until the staff roll this game will keep pusing the limits of your aiming and ammo management skills. It managed to stay difficult and challenging for me without ever descending into the frustrating realms of becoming impossible. Play in a dark room with headphones for extra effect.

Do I really need to tell you why you should play Portal? It has portals. It has cake. Just play it already.

My first impression of this is very positive. Not only does the combat feel far more engaging than typical RPGs, the convenience of being able to send your pet to the merchant with a load of items halfway a dungeon and never suffering of the famous 'should I drop these boots to make room for this potion' line of thought makes me wonder why not all RPGs have a similar system.
