After playing about 60 multiplayer matches I can honestly say that the game is totally worth buying. Gameplay feels good, plenty of time to carefully think about your next move (game is turn-based). It has pretty simple and good mechanics though you'll have to play a bit to start understand and use some deep moves. However, game is quite friendly to new players, tutorial and a few singleplayer missions will be enough for you to start playing multiplayer which is where real fun is.
So, if you enjoy tactical games you will definitely enjoy this one. (Multiplayer is still alive and kicking)
