i have the exact same opinion you have on shapez 2 but for the first game, you have to be tearing down things because after you are done with them you dont really need them anymore, and i might have forgotten already if you mentioned, but once you perfect your design for doing certain task like painting, adding other blocks on top of others, its become trivial, just copy pasting ♥♥♥♥ and the game become pointless, in other games like factorio theres just so many tasks, and game stages, you cant simply copy paste everything.
