This was a difficult game to review. I feel as though this game is out of place in the entire series to date. It controls and plays just like the 2 previous(?) borderlands but it has a few things that bother me.

Sound - You can tell this game was developed and handed off to 2K australia. Almost every voice actor is Australian, not a bad thing but it helps when you balance the game with voice actors with more than one accent. This took away from the experience a bit for me as I found myself concentrating too much on the accents and not on what the NPCs were saying. Other wise the game is copy/paste in terms of sounds effects.

Gameplay - The obvious huge key difference is the gravity, or lack thereof. Nice addition, sometimes off putting though. The biggest drawback by a bound was the gravity when items fall from a fallen spawn. I found myself running (almost to my death) off ledges to retrieve purples, oranges or greens that literally shoot from the enemy after you'v defeated him. Again, the gameplay is pretty much carbon copy as far as Borderlands titles go.

Replayability - I felt as though I didn't want to return to this title after completing the campaign. Feeling as though I had to finish this game to get the whole picture. It somewhat grinded on me a bit after a short while, I fear I only played through it because I'm a loyal Borderlands fan.

I'm really conflicted and find it hard to recommend this game and purchase it right out the gate. I will on the other hand recommend it simply based on the fact that it is a Borderlands title and just that - not much new but still a good game.
