Good base game but needs bug fixes. Specifically at this point there are issues with import/export with trains and some other methods. Paradox called these out on the forum as bugs so they will likely be fixed in the future. Game runs disgusting on my ~3 year old hardware, but oh well. I am sure it might run OK in 5 years after fixes and I eventually upgrade my GPU.

My favorite A-Train game. I love the 2D graphics. This is a PC port of the Nintendo 3DS version of A-Train. To me this is the most pure A-Train game - it retains the soul of A-Train IV. Essentially think of this as a remastered version of A-Train IV, before they split off and made the 3D versions.

Note to Linux players - this game seems to have known compatibility with WINE and other WINE derivatives, so you will likely need to run this natively on Windows.

Very accessible but retains the depth of older, classic A-Train titles. The UI is a bit clumsy for PC players, being originally used for the Nintendo Switch. Despite this, Really great that Artdink went this route. Very relaxing game and reminds me of the old days playing A-Train on Playstation 1. I am not sure how they could make a better A-Train game than this.

I didn't expect off-brand Civ to be a better game than actual Civ

When the old game (RD) is so good you don't feel like buying the new game (WARNO)

Hey it isn't perfect. It isn't 100% polished like a triple-A title. Despite this, the game is a a lot of fun. I was going to buy CoH 3 but I looked at screenshots and video and it looked underwhelming, so I bought this instead. It's fun for me to just play skirmishes with the AI for ultimate replay value. There's a mod called Valour (which was DMCA removed from Workshop recently, sadly) that is great and adds Hungary, USA, UK, France, Poland, and Japan as factions - wow! Enjoying this game more than I thought.

Aerofly FS4: Early Review : Incremental Engine Improvements at Play

The VR flight sim king returns with a hefty update to the venerable Aerofly FS2 simulator. Major new features added include AI aircraft traffic - complete with togglable contrails - as well as some new aircraft (even Concorde!) There’s a new feature to fast-forward through the flight – handy if you don’t want to fly an eight-hour flight in real-time! The automatic route creation is very welcome addition; it makes it a breeze to get a flight plan in your FMC, ASAP. The Copilot system remains excellent, and it puts MSFS2020’s Copilot system to shame – there’s no comparison. Likewise, the fast forward functionality isn’t a buggy mess like it is in MSFS2020.

MSFS2020 still wins in overall beauty, but FS4 is not an ugly game by any means. The lack of MSFS2020-quality graphics comes with an added benefit – the game is much more lightweight. Loading in and out is a breeze; the IPACS engine is as snappy as ever.

Although the wind/cloud system adds a lot to the game, I would love to see weather (rain, storms, snow, etc) at some point in the future. I wouldn’t realistically expect it for this generation of Aerofly.

Another function – Air Traffic Control – is not present in the game. Some may see this as a blessing, after hearing the constant radio chatter in MSFS2020, but I would still love to get cleared for landing and hear my custom call sign. This is once again a feature I do not expect to be implemented for FS4, but perhaps for the next generation of IPAC's sim.

It's really great that IPACS included the high-resolution packs and an entire Europe content pack as free DLC. If they were included in the base download, the disk requirements would have been obscene, so offering them as a free DLC on Steam was an intelligent move.

Overall – these are the benefits of FS4 over MSFS2020:

* The engine is fast! OpenGL and Vulkan. Runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux! If you struggle to run MSFS2020 at decent framerates, FS4 might be for you!

* The Co-Pilot is great for casual players – such as running a long jet flight for several hours on a secondary display.

* The VR functionality of Aerofly is best in class, with full virtual hands. It really does go an extra layer to trick your mind. Try to fly only using your VR hands – it’s great! Since FS4’s engine isn’t a slow-running behemoth like MSFS2020, so it’s easier to get VR-friendly framerates.

* No always-online! You don’t have to worry about cloud services going down, like MSFS2020 (Azure) nor any continual bandwidth drain (past the initial hefty download)

* Better selection of included vanilla (non Deluxe) aircraft. Multiple military and civilian jets, some WWII combat aircraft, along with good old standbys like the C172
