Alan Wake is by far one of my most favourite games of all time. Having had the game for a few years now, I can still firmly say that the game holds up to it's many competitors even in the present day.

With it's gripping narrative, deeply intriguing mystery and high production quality, Remedy Entertainment; famous for their Max Payne series, successfully founds the Thriller genre of the video game industry.. Setting the bar for similar genres of games, Alan Wake skillfully teeters between the thin line of Action & Adventure and Survival-Horror.

Supported by Petri Alenko's atmospheric score and famed Finnish band: Poets of the Fall, Alan Wake also boasts impressive ambience in and out of cutscenes further sucking you into the world and Bright Falls' various colourful inhabitants!

Although the shooting mechanics can become tedious, and at times; extremely frustrating, you play the game for it's immersive storyline. Delving deep into the tormented mind of Best-selling author Alan Wake, players are promised an entwining journey into the deep-set past of Bright Falls where they will uncover many a mystery!
