I used to play this game back in 2015.
Play mesmer at NA server from SEA country really piss me out. High ping, constantly miss combo, miss dodging so i give up.

My cousin asked me to play again from Steam. After download 5 hours then patching 4 hour, i put it at wrong folder (C:\). Try move to D:\ folder but re-download and re-patching again. Lol.

While browsing the forums, I found many complaints about this game. Turns out it's still the same as before regarding high ping and most recently regarding auto bans for using VPN. Even though as far as I know, many gamer from the SEA and Oceania regions usually playing any online game (EU/ NA server) with VPN to reduce 30-60 ping.
This makes me lazy to play anymore. So 10 hour that's my game play just during patching. Ha ha ha.

Wuxia cultivator card duel.
Not pay to win. It just combination your hero + sect card, profession card, choice of talent when level up, and your luck like every other card games.
No predatory micro-transaction.
You can play free without annoying message/ icon to buy something.
No seasonal card. All card free, you only need buy hero and combine with profession (in-game currency can buy this).
Stable server, no lag at all (I'm playing from SEA country).

It's has beautiful graphic, many culture option, but war system kinda annoying.

Harverst Moon + The Sims + Stardew Valley = Coral Island

Come back playing this game on new laptop, after installation game doesn't working (can't start).
The solution are you must delete file "version.dll" in the game folder.


Old review:
Max out your "insight" stat as high as possible from random roll create character. Forget martial and spiritual bonus, you can upgrade with item inside game from sect. Ignore charisma, my super duper very ugly character still got many fans for dual cultivation every month, many male npc pity me and give me some item hahaha.

Don't ever try to become Elder on sect, just stick as true disiple. When i'm become elder i can't join sect tournament and don't get many present from win sect tournament.

'Xian Online'-style with customize character.
Gain gold from reselling item city to city.
Can attack city and occupy then gain resource and tax.
Plunder caravan enemy city.
Main quest and side quest depending your main character.
Sand box game, do whatever you wanna do.

This is Early Access Game, 50% content not implement yet, the said.

WARNING: After buy this game (this is not free to play game) then play and grinding exp AF for 70+hours, i'm getting permanent ban for try mods auto battle for couple hour. WTF, not reset character/ level but permanent.

Cons:
1. Grinding AF
2. No skip animation setting
3. In Game currency hard to get (back to point no 1)
4. No auto battle (when exp gain only from battle, back to point 1)
5. No exp from quest, just a bit of IG currency (even though this genre say MMO)

Pros:
1. Pokemon clone
2. They said MMO but lack of MMO element
3. Grinding AF (for masochist person this is pros)
