Do take a chair, actually, sit right here, it's my favourite spot. I keep that place for myself or esteemed guests such as thyself

Would you care to join me for a cup of tea or coffee? - beer even, if that is what you so choose. You see, I don't get much visitors around here, and it's always a pleasure to meet new people.

What was that? ...Ohh, the game I was playing. That's quite alright, I'll get back to it later. Right now I have a most welcomed guest to entertain. But let me tell you all about it.

You see, this game takes place in what we call a pretechnological era. People had just started flirting with what they too considered technology, but they had nothing of the fancy stuff we have nowadays.

Teleportation was mostly a thing of fiction, they could only transfer tiny bits of data - matter of fact they called them bits - just a bunch of 1s and 0s. You had to admire them really, for we wouldn't be where we're at without them, but they had been going at it the wrong way

Anyway, back to the game. As you can understand, people could meet new people by presenting things about them - descriptive text, images and videos maybe. But that's about it. You don't get an instant, real-time projection of the person, along with a conduct report, physical hygiene, mental sanity and all that. Believe it or not, people could still hide between a fake image, or something that is totally unrelated to them

I keep getting side-tracked. Anyway, so in this game I'm trying to build a what-is-called a profile . I can choose to hide all that which I don't like about myself, and mention all the facts that I'm proud of, in the hopes of attracting the attention of others, and possibly make them admire me for the qualities I've listed.

I've only just started so I'm not really good at it, but I'm almost done setting it up - I might even let you see it later, but forget about it for now. Do tell me about yourself, I'm sure there's lots that we can discuss
