Recommending this game is hard, it's for the long time fans, but few else.

If you've been here from the beginning, or even if you've just been here since Dreamfall, you need to get it. If you're not, then you need to give it a pass. The pacing is awkward, moving fast and doing great narrative points, then spending too long running seeming errands. The small budget shows painfully with grand ideas marred by pedestrian implementation, causing you to run around the same two areas repeatedly for the first four episodes. And it feels like it spends too little time actually building up to its ending.

But if you've been here all along, it's the ending you'll want to see.

I am not entirely agreing with your first statment.
I have started with this game, and when I finished the first chapter I realized this is a continuation, so I went back and played the first 2, and had a blast, and dispeit its age I think the first one is still my favorite

Yes Dreamcycle ends. But this entire saga has multi-layered stories and some of them hasn't been revealed yet. So far I noticed April's Journey, Zoe's Dreamcycle and Kian's Ascension and Saga's Adventure. There may be more stories leading to the reunification (aka true ending of the saga). This game ends Zoe's Dreamcycle but not the whole thing. Only a bit tease here and there on what will happen.
