I've been a gamer since I was a wee tot in the 70s. My first console was the original Magnavox Odyssey, which had a basic Pong type game and a couple of other games that were equally lame. In the early 80s, I upgraded to the Odyssey2, which took cartridges and was an early competitor to the Atari 2600.

My first computer was a Commodore Vic-20. That died an early death, so I brought it back to the store and exchanged it for a Commodore 64. That is where my real love of gaming began. I spent countless hours playing such classics as Ultima I - IV, Jumpman, Wizard, Impossible Mission, Fort Apocalypse, Infocom text adventures, etc.

In 1990, I graduated to the Commodore Amiga 500, which was the most awesome gaming machine at the time. I didn't have a ton of games for it, but the ones I played a lot were Tetris, Ultima V & VI, Globulus, and Rick Dangerous.

By 1993, PC gaming was starting to catch up with the Amiga, and that's when I jumped ship and got my first PC. It was a 40MHz AMD 386 clone with 1 meg of RAM and a 170 meg hard drive. I splurged on a 16-bit Sound Blaster card, and I was in gaming heaven!

For the next 10 years, with many PC upgrades, I enjoyed many great games including Syndicate, Dune II, Dreamweb, Doom, Quake, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, Relentless (Twinsen's Adventure), Starcraft, Half Life, Unreal, Deus Ex, Heavy Metal FAKK2, Omikron, Drakan, The Longest Journey, Grand Theft Auto III, Anachronox, Project Eden, Sacrifice, to name just a few.

In 2001, I realized that console gaming was finally catching up with PC gaming and I bought my first "modern" console, the Sega Dreamcast. My favorite games on that console were Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, and Shadowman. After a few months, I also bought a PS1. Even though the graphics weren't as good as the Dreamcast, the PS1 had a lot more games, and a lot of them were more fun. My favorite PS1 games were Blood Omen, the Final Fantasy series, Abe's Oddysee & Exoddus.

In 2002 I bought a PS2 and enjoyed such great games as ICO, the Jak & Daxter series, the Ratchet & Clank series, Primal, Soul Reaver 2, Final Fantasy X & X-2, Dark Cloud 2, Rogue Galaxy, Drakan: The Ancients Gate.

In 2003 I bought the original Xbox and passed the next few years playing Beyond Good & Evil, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time & Warrior Within, Sudeki, Indigo Prophecy, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I & II, Dreamfall, Deus Ex: Invisible War.

I got back into PC gaming in 2009. I don't have enough space to list everything here, so check my games list to see what I've been playing.
