This is a great addon in general! In some areas it lacks, but in others it is great!

Pros:
-Horns are determined by the number of the locomotive! They vary between a Nathan K5LA, Nathan P5, and Leslie RS5T.
-Engine sounds are great!
-Horn and bell sounds are good.
-Details and controls within the cab are okay.
-Ditch lights dim when flashing, rather than going off and on.

Neutral:
-Lights could look a bit better in terms of the flare's texture and color.

Cons:
-Loudness of horn/bell does not change with distance, and sound cuts out at a certain distance.
-Startup seems too quick.
-Sounds within cab do not change with opening of the windows.

Correct me if I am wrong with anything!

Personally I liked this DLC, but I believe others will hate it. It lacks a lot, but it does have some neat quirks to it.
Pros:
-Well modelled GP40-2s based on prototypes
-Quite complex headlight/ditch light system, first time i've ever seen ditch lights in the game that actually fade in and out!
-Variety of railroads to choose from
-Comes with a selection of cars
Cons:
-Bell isn't really accurate
-Reused sounds from F40PHs
-Horn loop is kind of iffy and just doesn't seem right to me.
-Lack of features in the cab, such as no opening doors/windows.
-Some details are inaccurate showing that this addon may have been rushed out.

Conclusion: Get it when on sale more than likely. I like this addon mostly because of the variety and accuracy on the model. Also, of course I like how we now have fading ditch lights finally!

It's a great game. It launched with many glitches and bugs, but the devs are actually fixing it, unlike some other failed launches. Otherwise, this has many more cars than CMS 2015, even including ones from DLCs. I like the new cars as well. CMS 2018 also includes a more wider range of parts. I believe this game is worth getting, even with the bugs it has, because the bugs are being sorted out slowly but surely.

It's basically ETS 2 but with added features. But it's still a good game.
Positives (New things/nicely done things)
+ Train yards
+ Trains look nice
+ AI cars are nice
+ Trucks are of course nice!
+ Map is lovely
+ Trailers look nice
+ Large modding community
+ ATSMP is coming soon
+ Difficulty improved
+ Fines are more realistic, though people think they suck, which they don't
and there's probably much more

Cons
- Small map at the time, people are scared of expensive microtransactions, but they promised us Arizona for free
- Horns sound weird
- Customization is too limited on the new trucks
- Not too many trucks in game yet
- Like in ETS 2, the cities seem too small
- The railroad crossing sucks, the quad gates are kind of weird, there is no bell sound, and it's only a single power move!
- I'm not sure if they're going to go all the way to the east coast
and some more

Note:
I am pretty sure they would not add Mexico or Canada being this game is more focused on the US.
Will edit this someday, likely

First, I guess I can say it was worth waiting 7 months.
Because I was waiting forever for a next gen racing simulator on PC, being Forza and Driveclub are on Next-Gen.
This game kind of saved PC Racing, being that Forza is too common. Also, can't wait for Need for Speed! :D

I was so used to those arcade games. Every time I play, I crash, and it makes me feel like i'm a noob at driving.
Thanks for preparing me for real life, Codemasters, it means a lot.
But what i'm more impressed by besides the physics, is the graphics. The game looks so beautiful at the low settings i'm at, but I know it's absolutely amazing at max! Also because I used to run DiRT 3 at a good frame rate at max. Codemasters has given us exactly what we've wanted! Next step is to do the same treatment to GRID.

10/10
I got it for like $30 at early access, but now it totally feels like it's worth $50. Other big devs should try early access, too!

From SCS Software, you can expect the unexpected. Because the unexpected scenery of the route is just too amazing, and I didn't expect a difference from the UK part of the map. But there was a difference. And it was a BIG one, too.

Because it was amazing.

After buying this route, I can't believe the effort these devs put into this. The horns and bells (besides the locomotive's) felt so fresh, and the crossing bells were amazing too! The cars even had good detail put into them! It was a shame you couldn't get the logos, but everything was amazing! I'd recommend it to everyone! I also compared this to real life because I went on a round trip to the end, and everything looks exact to the real thing! Even the burlington caboose I saw irl at the Aurora station is there, and the Dupage Children's Museum is actually there in Naperville! This is amazing!

Update as of August 17:
A modder on RWA (Railworks America) has released a logo mod, for others to enjoy it to its fullest.

For me, it tests my logic really well, and it actually feels very casual, but it's challenging!
