CS:GO Review
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a team based shooter and the game that keeps on giving. You can create teams with people from all over the world, develop valuable Teamwork and Leadership skills, make new friends, and last but not least learn Russian with ease.

The community match making scheme works great and if you wish to play competitively you can always expect to be matched up against people of a similar skill level. The ranks are well balanced and you feel a real sense of achievement when ranking up.

During your time playing, you get given ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and cases. The skins aren't the best (valued at 0.03 $/£/€ most of the time) but the cases give you an opportunity to unbox some of the most valuable skins around (reaching into hundreds, if not thousands of $/£/€), but this comes with a catch. You will more often than not lose money opening these cases as you have to buy keys to do so, and the cost of keys offsets any profit you would get from opening the case. Instead, I suggest you sell any skins/cases you get on the Community Market and use that money to buy other games.

If you get bored of the usual Casual and Competitive gamemodes, there are a large amount of community run servers with custom gamemodes such as Surfing, Bunnyhop, 1v1 and Kz, and there are also thousands upon thousands of community made maps to go with them. I personally enjoy surfing and around half of my 1,000 hours are a result of grinding out the most popular surf maps to beat my times again and again.

To summarize, buy this game. It's great. You'll meet so many new people and learn valuable life skills at the same time. It's a bunch of fun and if you don't buy this game then you're missing out.

10/10
