It's a very, very good game. The strategic depth and breadth is unparalleled- even before you start using mods, there's a simply ludicrous variety of ways to play. You can spend hundreds of hours playing turns, refreshing your inbox and praying for a new turn to arrive to compare how your strategy fared against the foe's. The only thing that might throw off some people is how little battlefield control you have, but I find that part of the fun- it's a test of skill and game knowledge in every fight.

It's pretty good. Combat's fun, the art is lovely, and the story's a solid dark comedic cyberpunk sort of affair. For the price of free, I really can't recommend it enough.

Early Access Review
It's a bit unpolished right now, but with the Devs constantly updating it in-between responding to practically every comment, it's definently going to be one of the games of the year. If you enjoy Rogue Trader, Mount and Blade, Star Trek, Star Wars, or just enjoy the idea of being a glorious space captain, pick this game up without delay and prepare the boarding torpedoes.

Walkerman is a pretty unique game. The closest comparison I can come up with is that it's similar to a Witcher VN. The focus is, rather than on killing monsters, you're supposed to find out how you're supposed to do that, experimenting and inquiring to find the set of rules each creature operates on. It's literally a matter of life or death, and requires you to keep a close eye on the plot and any odd occurences, lest you miss a detail that leads to your horrible, horrible death.

Speaking of the story, the setting's great. The game does a very good job of putting you in the shoes of Jorgen, rather than making him a self-insert. He's a rural farm-boy with a set of prejudices and preconceptions that leads to some very interesting internal monologues and reactions to other characters. It's an age of decadence and corruption, and he can't help but see moral failings in everyone he sees; the foreign dancer-girl, who you'd expect your average VN protagonist to lust after, is instead labelled a degenerate. It's lovely.

I really enjoyed this game, and I'm looking forward to seeing Act 2.

I would write a longer review here, but that would require being away from Dominions. Wonderful game, although I reccomend waiting for a sale.
