i am unfamiliar with the world of warhammer... but i love this game...
it's a blast. if you like this kind of game... then go for it.

visually it looks nice.
For me a little too instanced (every mission is a minimap with boundaries - so no open world to roam and discover).
i dont use a controller, probably that will work better.

So. Starfield. its a strange one.
it's a Bethesda game and i think it is a good game.

BUT.... yes there is a BUT.

it's not the game you might expect. Its not skyrim in space, its not fallout 4 / 4.5 with shiny objects. its not a free roam spacegame. don't buy it without watching gameplay on twitch/youtube to get a good feel of the game. Some say masterpiece, some say utter garbage and strangely, both are right.

My opinion:
It's fun as a solo game, if you just play the game. Do the side missions follow the main quest (no rushing) and level up your character.

Loading screens
the game has a lot of hidden loading screens posing as fast travel. The scenes look nice, the AI is dumb and other games are way more realistic. Still i like to clear out locations... find some stuff and play strong man carrying it all.

male/female and other ...
wanna be a guy with boobs? a girl with a beard? probably you can. i find it a waste of time and resources.
(people make a lot of fuzz about nothing. its irrelevant. the emotions. bleh.)

Combat
the combat isn't as good as other games, but for me, a casual player its Ok.
Are you hardcore FPS? pass this game.

overall
i enjoy the game. It isn't a replacement for Star Citizen, but it shows how much more Star Citizen is and thus this is a nice time filler. The space combat is simple and OK. has some nice touches. The game expects you to behave like a gamer. Do not check the game boundaries (like that 7 hour straight forward flying girl)
It is a game, it isn't reality. The world is fake. Simple... it's a game, it's make believe. Just enjoy doing the things that you can do. don't ruin your fun finding out what isn't real.

If you think it might be fun, do want to play, but are not sure.... perhaps too expensive... then take a month of xbox gamepass, install the software on pc and try it out.
dont buy it to prove something you could have known. by just watching a twitch streamer.

BG3. Dungeons and Dragons! Finally a game that pre-ordered *AND* delivered as it should. I dnt have time to write an elaborate review. Are you into DnD? then this is it. It sets a new standard for the gaming (rpg) industry.
and surprise... making a good product actually sells.
all i can say is join the rest of us and enjoy the game.

xcom-eske game. i'm only 3 hours in, its fun, combat is fun, lots of options, there is a storyline so far. try it out if you like these kind of xcom-like games.

some long queues on some servers, just pick one that has no queues and it is a great game.
its not the fastest game, but it feels solid. combat feels good. leveling is also quite well done. (not too fast)
i recoomend this. it has vibes of skyrim online.

dunno if this is a good or bad game. it looks kinda nice, i just have problems with the key button combo things. (and i hate when they keep interrupting me -yes you, annoying narrator dude- when i play. its not for me, but maybe for another type/kind of player. (maybe its fun to do for controller peeps? - i am bad at controllers.... so would not even try.) check some gameplay on youtube / twitch before you buy.

for me its a do't recommend, but for those who like the gameplay (see twitch etc) it probably is. (so i changed it from negative to positive, i dont think that the game is bad or plays bad. i just am bad at it..)

I have (just like anybody else) login problems. (and some direct X 12 memory issues - fix: force to direct X 11) but the disconnects get less and less. I like the game. It's not perfect: i don't like the cover "system", or the over the shoulder shooting, As for solo play: I like the fact that my buddy can hop in to help me out.

I don't see this as a solo game, but as a game that i can play solo. (i dont understand the constant complaining about "always online" requirements in relation to single player mode. This game has no single player, but solo play.
It's the same "yada yada" for me when want to play online mmo's solo and refrain from pvp. (yeah raids, not my kind of game - way to much "you are a 'tank' you are doing it wrong" comments. i'm trying to have fun, so go away.)

The story: a little cringy and not very compelling. The part i have done is also very railroaded, not the open world that i would expect.

I have a hard time trying to be aggresive, if i do i am trying to do the thing i am not good at and die. I guess i'm more a strategic sniper kind of person. Do i like the game? yes. i probably will die a lot and not be able to do all on my own. its fun with one or two friends and that is what counts.

so it looks cool, plays good (except cover - that sucks, i prefer crouching etc. dunno about playing with a controller.)
has great visuals, not-so-good voice acting and annoying cutscene camera motion.

so yes i recommend it, if you are uncertain, dont buy it, check the youtube and twitch. then decide.

Its a blast. absolute winner. it plays well has very good gameplay mechanics, its different and graphics are very good in a strange way. It's not the blockyness of minecraft, (also not the same unlimited building mechanics). challenging building mechanics and survival mechanics to get to better tier items.
all i can say is buy it. dont worry about refund. it is worth the money and its entertaining.
