are you serious?
even when my reply to my self clearly said that i was joking?
dude, your finger is too hasty on the trigger...
actually from what i've seen your gun in the majority of times is pointed at the wrong people...
if you're looking for real beggers you better off going into these pathetic "we want more origin bundle games" topics than going into obvious sarcasm jokes topics...

All begging is dealt with by suspension, regardless of sincerity. Period. We don't fiddle-fuck around with trying to decide where the line is between joke begging and 'joke' begging. All it does is waste our time and give people a way to try and talk their way out of suspensions. We have an absolute zero-tolerance policy for begging. We will not allow our users' generosity to make them targets for harassment via our site.

Furthermore, posting about it in the group forum is not only pointless, as all matters relating to the moderation of the site and group are handled strictly through support and no other way, but it can easily be construed as calling out the moderator who suspended you and could result in further action against you.

If you think you're going to get anything done about the issue here, you're not getting anything done except making more trouble for yourself. If you think you're going to get a bunch of people rallying to your cause over this 'injustice,' you're even more wrong. People who try to do that usually wind up either completely ignored or, more often, mocked and belittled because they broke the rules and thought they shouldn't have to do things like actually learn the rules and follow them just like everybody else.

well, the only real reason why i've used the group forum is because all my other ways of contacting the staff are blocked...
than again, even with the actual sentence that i've wrote and been suspended for i hardly see any way of begging besides the "anyone spare a copy for me? lol (Laughing Out Loud).
specially because in that specific forum topic all the comments that were prior to mine were all sarcastic.
yet, i still REPLIED TO MY OWN COMMENT saying that it is sarcastic and no one should take anything in it seriously...

i didn't came to the group forum in order to get random people on "my side"...
in fact i didn't even expected or wanted random people to interfere or get involved in this matter...
again, if i had another more discrete way of contacting the staff concerning this issue i would of used it instead...

god, i've been a member of steamgifts for over a year and just recently started going in the forums because i wanted to help people with game/computer issues.
than when i post an OBVIOUS sarcasm comment for the first time i get suspended for "begging".
if i would of knew that you guys don't even have a proper way of judging a joke than i wouldn't even start commenting in the damn forums...

anyway i don't want to continue filling this idiotic flaming post...
if you could please provide me a more discrete staff-to-member way of contacting on issues of this manner than please do so...

I can't understand how some people don't see the link telling them to go to support on their suspension notice.

"since when sarcasm is suspendable?" it's the least you could get http://edition.cnn.com/2013/07/02/tech/social-media/facebook-threat-carter

that is not sarcasm, that is a life threat.
the kid's defence statement is that it was a "sarcastic comment".
now maybe it is, but that comment itself had no indication on it being completely sarcastic at all, which is why this kid is sitting in jail...
