BLACKWIDOW ULTIMATE 2013: After login to Windows Enter Key Stuck
The enter key get stuck after logging in to windows ever since I got the Blackwidow ultimate 2013 keyboard a couple weeks ago. It never happens the first time I login to the Windows. It only occurs if I lock it then to return later. The enter key will act stuck and keep spamming whatever is being selected. I have yet to find a fix for this but it is super annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I get this issue on windows 7. it seems to be a bug somewhere in the synapse crap. it happens often and does a lot of damage each time. i've taken to clicking into an empty notepad window after i login, type a letter and see if the keyboard is spamming newlines, if it is, unplug and re-plug it.
this then often breaks synapse more.
then you have to quit and reopen synapse if you want the function keys to work reliably (i.e. to change the backlight).

i have a blackwidow ultimate also. razer support appears to be entirely useless (to match the synapse software). my solution is to buy a logitech G710+ and leave the razer keyboard disconnected from any computers. if you cant afford to throw out a relatively expensive keyboard, try contact razer for a solution and let me know if you actually get anything useful from them?

I had same problem with other keys. Key gets stuck and it is spamming it constantly, and you call this is a 130€+ keyboard?

Well, gotten it only 3 times in few months, but kind of annoying.

Instead of hitting enter upon logging in I use the mouse to click the login instead. Hasn't done it in the past couple of weeks since I have done this.

try this, unplug your keyboard, do not change anything just yet. Leave the keyboard for about 20 seconds unplugged. after that press and hold the "fn"-key, plug in the usb connector but don't let go the "fn"-key for 5 seconds. The keyboard updates the firmware in post-mode. after update restart your system. I don't know if you are using registry-cleaner software, if so you'll have to block the program changing razer-registry-keys, same with file-cleaner.

The second day I had to update the firmware of my keyboard and right in the middle of it the process froze. Because of that I had to restart the system and the keyboard was completely dead, even windows couldn't recognize it anymore. Only thing working at this point was windows recognizing an usb-device but it was an unknown device for now. normally windows categorized it under keyboards.
After a few hours of debugging myself I got the keyboard totally working again. but I did the debugging myself because razer said it was defected and I should return it. I din't return my keyboard instead I protested by razer started my own discussion because maybe I can help other people with some problems.

Like I have said in a previous post, if I don't hit enter upon logging in I am fine. Type in your password to log in and then click the login button instead of hitting enter. Has worked for me ever since.

Yeah. Its that fucking shit synapse software. Start or stop the software with a key pressed down. So you press enter to login and before that keyup event, the software inits (based on a race conditon) and may or may not fuck you over.

Heres a tip, FUCK YOU razer. i hate your awful software. its worse than worthless. It ruins a $150 piece of hardware. Try hire some read developers if you want to keep customers. otherwise, i'll decompile the shit myself with reflector and fix it.

Hey everyone. I just purchased the Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 and was running into this same issue. I ran into this thread while trying to troubleshoot, and noticed no one has linked to the firmware update yet:
http://drivers.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=364&pcid=247&nav=0,77,241,247

This should fix the problem! After updating the firmware I haven't run into the issue again. Hope this helps!

i am having this issue on the older blackwidow ultimate. this firmware does not work on it.
it's like they know there is a problem but they're too useless / retarded to actually fix it.

Hopefully they lose customers over it. I'll never buy anything of theirs again.

I confirm, update your firmware as AlexCT451 said and this should fix the problem. Try it!
