WE RECOGNIZE:

-Valve is a company with financial needs and cannot be expected to survive without the release of multiplatform games.

-Judgment cannot be passed on the quality of the PS3 version of Portal 2 until its release.

-Portal was, and is, a quality game which deserves the praise of the entire gaming community.

WE ARE COMMITTED:

-To holding Valve to its promise of not developing for the PS3 in order to build and sustain the community.

-To keeping the non-PS3 gaming community together in order to improve the quality of games everywhere.

-To supporting the model of calling the PS3 a “waste of time” Valve has set forth with its staple staff like Gabe Newell.

WE BELIEVE:

-The release of Portal 2 as a PS3 title will split the communities and decrease the quality of gaming.

-The announced PS3 version of Portal 2 does not warrant a release and all copies should instead become destroyed.

-The release of the PS3 version of Portal 2 will make all other versions (including the PC) an obsolete purchase and inferior piece of software.

WE REQUEST:

-That Valve honor its commitment to not release Portal 2 and any other games for the PS3.


Therefore, we - the members of this Portal 2 Boycott - promise to abstain from the purchase of Portal 2 until our demands are met.
