Our company goal is to introduce the FreeSpace 2 community to Space Engineers through the Steam Workshop, all the while having some fun and a few laughs.

For those that want to contribute, use the links to the craft lists, pick a ship or structure, and get started. If you need further help or are looking for someone to collaborate with, we encourage you to use the group forums here.

Feel free to share your finished craft and comments here, but please remember to follow these rules when posting to promote creativity and ensure a friendly environment:
1. Keep comments constructive and kind. If you can't do that, keep them to yourself. Also, creators should not take criticism as an attack on their work. Those suggestions might just help you get selected for Player of the Week/Month/Year.
2. This group was created to bring FreeSpace to SE. As such, Players of the Week/Month/Year will be selected based on member votes, quality, complexity, overall performance, usefulness in gameplay, and resemblance to the original craft. If it's not from FS, FS2, or a FSOpen campaign, it will not be considered.
3. If you collaborated with someone on a project, make sure they are credited as well.
4. DO NOT copy craft from other players, members or not, and post them as your own creation. You may use them as a starting point, but if you do, you MUST credit them. This group encourages creativity, not copyright infringement. Violators will be severely punished.
5. Trolls are to consider the Join Group button the point of no return. Beyond that point, there be (SF) Dragons.
6. World events have no place here. Politics outside of this group are to remain that way: outside of the group. This group was formed to be a "world without borders," and we should keep it that way.
7. These rules are subject to change, and all members are expected to follow them at all times. The staff will make an announcement of any additions, removals, or modifications as they occur, so excuses such as "I didn't know that was against the rules" and "I was never told that" will not be tolerated.

This group is not (directly) associated with Hard Light Productions. However, we (the owner and a number of our officers and moderators) do encourage fellow fans of the FreeSpace series to check out the HLP forums. I (lordhood117) consider it to be the absolute friendliest gaming community I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. Also, if you need to get a better feel for what the craft is like and you don't have the game, Descent: Freespace is now available on Steam and you can get Freespace 2 from GoodOldGames (GOG.com).
