Advice on getting Mad Catz Controller working in Big Picture Mode?

I have a (MadCatz) SF4 Fight Stick that works fine plugged in w/ various games like Rogue Legacy, Street Fighter, but doesn't seem to work w/ the Big Picture interface.

Any advice on getting it to work? Is there a FAQ on how to get it working?
I have OS X and Win 7 but neither seem to register.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I installed the the XBox Controller drivers previously, and while it works in games, it sadly doesn't seem to do anything for Big Picture mode. It'd be a bit academic, but it's also a requirement for the Steam Powered badge (for Steambox beta eligibility). Ah, well.
