[Fixed] Recent games list isn't working! In steam UI, not taskbar.

The game list just randomizes your whole library.

How to replicate.

1. go to recent games
2. all games will be randomized.
3. if you go to all games and then back again it will re-randomize all games.

I was getting nervous when I saw that but apparently it's only on the client, the recent games you've played register fine on your profile, and most of my games actually appear that I played them somehow "yesterday", that's really weird...

Same here, windows 7. I just restarted steam. It's been open for about a week or so. After the update, boom. I literally play off my recent list since I have so many games. So Now I'm kinda out of luck.

Yep. I didn't really like the way Recent worked before, but this is definitely worse. lol

Me too. i'm relieved it seems a bug from the last update.

latest beta don't have recent 5 games list at all (tested with english interface) - idk, it's bug or feature
but
+ all games in library shown as started today
+ sometimes, when update or switch language, library change view from list mode to detail view
week before steam start auto self-check and reinstall components if i'm clean some temp files in windows user profile - now it stopped

5 games listed for me.
Untill now no randomization for me, always the same 5 games. And they were the same games every time except after i installed a new game this morning. That new game was shown during that log-in.
The 5 games shown indeed are games i opened to test stuff for this forum. Strangely enough the only game i actually played latter months does not show at all.

I changed language, from English to Danish to Dutch to French to German and back to English.
No change in library view options.
However at changing back to English i finally had the entire Recently Played list randomized with 4 games i have not played in a long time, they are not even installed. The 5th game listed is the newly recieved & installed game from this this morning. That game should be listed #1, not #5.
