After much research , I found a patch for windows 8 & 10 send me a private message, steam lock all link :(

This game was a huge part of my childhood growing up. I absolutely played the crap out of it, and was so excited when I saw it on Steam. So, I went and bought the Luxor Collection with the disappointment that this game was not working. So, I went and looked into not only how to fix it, but also why it was not working. I'm running Windows 10, if that matters to you. Anyway, I just purchased the entire franchise of 8 games. Four of the games won't open. I tried many things, but it seems previous threads on each of the forums are correct that only a 3rd party fix is available to get the games to open. Some people have trouble with more than 4 of the games. Anyway, the package deal ended up not being a deal at all. ...and it's becoming increasingly clear to me that it's never going to be fixed. When I click play, my little icon in the bottom right turns green for 2 seconds, and then closes. I've tried to run the program as an administrator, I've tried combatibility mode, and nothing has worked. The same thing happens with Luxor 2. What the hell. Don't release a broken game....
