But that is the limit of my current connection, so it's all i would expect to see.
I get 11 MB/s (Megabytes) on my 90 Mb/s (Megabits) connection.
8Mb = 1 MB
but i'm still happy :D
What about hardware setup? Were they running on a gigabit router? Hardwired or wireless? How many hops before it reaches the server? Were all the nodes working properly along the route?
Too many factors to consider and too much that would slow down the connection long before Steams servers would be an issue.

It's not his hardware because you see in the video his disk is writing faster than the download speed.
