Where's Chinese New Year Sale?

They just had a sale that ended a short while ago thus you need to wait awhile because of it.

Chinese new year has different date every year according to the normal calendar. this year is on jan 28th so that is why steam havent open Chinese new year sale yet if there is one

but it's very close already, if it was christmas, sure they already start the sales.

There's been a sale on games published by Playism, which includes a bunch of Japanese indie games. I dunno if that's still going.

There has been one Lunar Sale so far. Why do you thing that's turning into a regular thing?

It's most likely not. As Cinedine said, it was a one off (so far)

Last year the holiday was on the 8th of Feb. The sale was the 5-12th.

This year the holiday is the 28th so it probably would have started already and there has been ZERO hype or leakage.

Would be nice if it did become a tradition though. There are rather few special sales events in the first half of the year.

Not to mention that the dragon calendar lunar calendar is better than the gregorian calendar.

For whom? Not people who rely on specific events to appear roughly at the same time. You now, like seasons.
The whole half a day missing in each cycle instead of having a quarter of a day too much in a much longer cycle pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥ it up. A leap day is much easier to keep track of than a whole leap month ever so often like in the Hebrew calendar.
