Preparing to launch Civ V
I keep attempting to launch Civilization to play. I get this message that says Preparing to launch Sid Meier's Civilization V... It just sit there and looks at me like I'm stupid. The game never launches. My software is up to date. Outside of my webbrowser no other prgorams are being used. How do you fix this? Makes me want to not use Steam anymore. Thanks!

If it hasn't already been fixed, usually uninstalling and then reinstalling is a good first step. Other than that you could post your system specs and verify your system actually has the hardware to support the game.

I played about 140 hours before this happened. So it wasn't system hardware. I'm really not sure how it began working again. I didn't do anything new. The only downside is I lost all my saved games :/
