Mac G5 Snow Leopard 10.6.8 none of my games will work
I jsut bought Crusader Kings 2 and Europa Universalis IV, and both refuse to work on my Mac. The game won't open. I tried disabling Steam Overlay, but nothing happens.

I'm just guessing since you haven't posted your system specs here, but if your system is so old it is entirely incapable of running Mavericks, it sounds to me like you probally don't meed the system requirments to run certain games.

Operating system is just one of the requirments. You also need to take a look at your RAM, your Graphics Card, your Processer, and a few more things I think.

Your G5 has a PowerPC CPU. You need an Intel CPU. I doubt you are even really running Snow Leopard, since the last PPC compatible version of OS X was Leopard (that's 10.5.x).

Then you aren't using a G5 Mac. These two things are mutually exclusive.

Yes it does. It tells you all of your specs, your OS version, your current RAM memory, and a lot more. Heck, we could even figure out what year it was made if you posted the information it provides you with.
