Steam "updating" every installed game!

Yeah, same here. Not every game, but 49 just updated, all saying they downloaded 0/0 bytes. Weird.

Steam reinstall issues

Hi all I have uninstalled Steam before and accidently deleted all files off my computer from steam. I've managed to redownload it but everytime I try to run steam I keep getting, "Steam - Fatal Error. Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again". I have tried rebooting my internet and computer but to no avail. Please can someone help me or give me a guide i would be very grateful. Thank you
