Yes Lenovo is the manufacturer's website. And for those two programs (skype and kaspersky) do i have to uninstall them for steam to work?

Also I have always had kaspersky on my computer, but skype just updated earlier today for me so does that mean that skype could be the issue?

Also they aare from a-z, it's just backwards I think because i uploaded them backwards by accident, or in the wrong order.

After uninstalling skype and steam, and reinstalling steam it FINALLY works. Thank you so much, and sorry for my ignorance, I did just skim the list and only looked at the major ones with the green * and I missed skype. Kaspersky is fine and it works, again sorry to waste your time like this!

Yea, some users here for some reason say the same thing when I try to help them...about the green symbol.

Thanks for pointing that out as I will remember to be more clear on that in the future. The ones with "green symbol" are just more of a problem with Steam than the other ones listed. All are known to have some level of issue with Steam.

I still highly suggest that you update your drivers from Lenovo only.

And still be sure you list Steam as exceptions in Kaspersky. You should be able to add the entire Steam folder to the list of real-time scan exceptions and that will be fine.

Just keep it in mind for any future issues that you may have. Kaspersky is still on the list and new issues 'may' come up in the future if you are going to keep it.

Thanks for your replies here and going along with suggestions.

Good luck to you always.

2. Post a screenshot of ALL of your installed programs, please. You can use this site imgur.com and post the links here. Make sure we can see ALL of the installed programs, please.
What other questions do you have?
Also when you say ALL of my installed programs, do you want pictures of my programs in my programs files x86 folder? Sorry if I'm not understanding what you're saying 100% I've never been too good at this kind of stuff.
