there's no real hardware distinction between consoles and PC's anymore. it's just the OS and the DRM ...
with steam OS comming out yor can basicly build your own console. eventualy tablets will be powerful enough and cheap enough that the gaming platform will switch to tablets and smartfone..
Sony and Microsoft will come out with thier own name brand hardware like they do know but it will just be like any other hardware you can buy excpet it carries a name brand that you pay extra for,
