Steam offers have been ending at 17:00 GMT for me recently. They normally end at 18:00, the difference is due to the date the clocks are turned foward.
The timezone in Italy (your profile) is GMT +1 (but an extra 30 minutes?), so the deal would have ended at 18:00 (18:30?) your time.
Current example: Dirt 3. 22 hours remaining and it's only 18:52 here. It's been on sale for 2 hours when normally it would only have been on sale for 1 at this time.
Always check the games page to find the exact amount of time it will remain on sale. Don't rely on the generic "10 AM Somewhere in America" message when the specific sale page has a count down.
As i said i have a job and not too much free time. I always had my purchases on last 10 minutes, cause i couldn't be home earlier, and always worked fine.
And yes, my bad, the difference is 1 hour, not 30 mins.
Still the DLST change is next sunday, so the server has a wrong time.
All offers has been advertised to end at 19.00 local time, i see them in italian, and they have always been correct. Just this time they ended earlier. So it's not my fault, but Steam server's.
And yes, your log reports the time/date of the transaction: Date Confirmed Mon Mar 25 10:53:07 2013, which is 18.53 in here.
We can't really blame Steam for release dates, as it's not their fault, but offers always worked on correct time.
The real lesson here is: do not trust anyone, even those who didn't fail you for years.
Still, on the page for the actual game there is a countdown which will be correct.
edit: Also the clocks go foward/back earlier in America.
but what if my job requires me to sleep in an underground mine for 71 hours?!?!
If all it required wa sleeping in the mine, where do I sing up?!

OP,
File a ticket with support. They can verify the times and maybe credt you the diffrence.
2- i'm not forced to know english. i do, but i could not know it as Steam offers a fully translated service. when i open Steam site i see it in italian. i'm not asking it, it just shows, so i expect the service to be perfect, else i'd prefer to see the english page with an option for an uncomplete italian version
3- if DST starts earlier in USA, they also know in Europe it starts/ends on last sunday of March/October, so they should change their times accordingly on translations. And since point 2, it's not my fault.
i can't always check everything, i have to trust, being Steam a serious service, what i see.
Btw this discussion is turning from the time inaccuracy to something else, and i see no one has a real advice.
Thank you for your replies, i have nothing more to say.
Beside maybe that i will skip this game for now. Peace.
PS: just saw last replies.
I may ask support to look into it, but i'm not even bothered atm.
Also the advertisement on main page is gone, so there is no proof anymore.
They know when their sales start and end, you don't need proof. If you bought the game during the sale, they will have both times on their records and can verify it.
