That being said, the game is not difficult as an AT. You just have to learn how to pace yourself. If you're by yourself, go slower between mobs. Give yourself time to heal up before you go rushing headlong into multiple groups of enemies. Pull smarter. Pretend it's like any other mmo.
Learn to block. If you see an enemy about to do a charge attack, stop whatever you're doing and hold on to that shift key until he's done.
Defense slot powers are your friend. Even if your stats are completely borked, invulnerability or regen allow you to play the game and eat a sandwich at the same time.
Get a heal power. Or better yet, get drones if it fits your character's theme. Stuck with AT's? Try a healer AT. They're slow, but fun. Or better yet, make a friend and have THEM heal you.
Having trouble getting anyone to help you? Type better. Be nicer. Be sincere. Don't rely on zone chat, but rather, try private messaging folks. Join a supergroup. Learn to socialize properly. Start of with "Excuse me...do you have time to answer a few questions?" Send it to several people, and don't be discouraged if you don't get a reply right away.
Well i know how and when to block but the game seems difficult. And yes i have tryed the Radiant and the Mind AT and i hve problems very soon with them.
Purchase subscription ? yes i would but i can only use a paysafcard and nothing else to buy gametime and the game has no option for that to buy subscription.
And i really think nobody would help me. Well i must say if i can not do much solo no matter what AT i play then the game is really not for me.
I also tryed out som Character guides from Proboards forums but they dont help me very much.
buy freefoarm slot ? Yes i would but... it is very expensive and like you say i dont have to choose the powers blindfolded such as i am because i dont know it works and what power combination is good.
Then around level 10 you have to find them around the prison, or use zone chat , and/or risk Grab alerts.
Help A Citizen Missions will help you get missions your level between level 9 and 29 but not at level 16, you and repeat them and beat them over and over, some of them are just "run into every room of the map"...good times.
Look for citizens in danger (near Thick as Thieves and Kodiak for instance), save them and wait for a mission when the fighting stops.
Pulling Spawns:
If you have trouble pulling with a melee build, try throwing objects, or using ranged attack devices. When throwing objects, you might have to select your target for the throw to hit. Thrown objects apply Nailed to the Ground. With devices, you don't really need anything fancy. It just needs to pull a spawn away from the others, so that you don't risk aggroing too much stuff at once. Make sure it has a 100' range, or it will be no better than using a Melee energy builder taunt. For missions like Fight Club, it makes a huge difference.
Using Walls:
If you need to get the mobs into melee range when you pull, hide behind something after pulling them. They will try to get into a position where they can see you, so if you're just around a corner, they will run right up to you, but they won't be able to attack until you can too. Also, Most mobs have a 100' range attack. Hiding while they close with you will keep them from using it.
Walls can also be used to keep mobs like Kevin Poe, Devana Hawke, and Dead Man Walkin' from kiting you. Get their backs to a corner, and they'll move into it.
what i saw u doing tring to use the Tactical Missiles and the mini gun power at the same time which a level 7 player does not have the right stats. So try the The Invincible again and just choose TA or the minigun alone and u should have no problems with some of those early NPCS.
OP, gimma your ign, if your willing, and Ill see if I can help you out. Otherwise Im sry but I dont see how you can find this game hard.
PS: If nothing els I can show you the power of a FF character.
Thanks for advice all of you but in my opinion they have to change a lot in the difficulty so you can play something solo.
you can be sure i will write to the GMs / Support about it
Easiest MMO/RPG I have ever played. Iv played almost everything we have access to in NA for perspective. Im sry but its true, and Im not bragging, Im not good enough to brag. If anything it needs more creative challenges. I increase the challenge but thats just a dmg/hp debuff.
Sry you feel that way though.
And there is no option so far to use a paysafecard for subscriptions.
Well i can buy a freeform slot yes ok but it is very expensive and i have spent between 200 and 300 Euros for the game so far.
Second: Yes i think maybe something is wrong with my game/ or version of my game because nobody seems to have a problem to do solo missions then me.
