Can't log in to grand server

Hi, I wanted to play this game after not playing for a while but whenver I try to log in now I just get stuck on the "logging in to grand server" message indefinitely. Any help here?

It's possible that the server just is down (at least partially). Try again later. If after a day you still can't log in then go to http://forums.mode7games.com/ and report your problem there.

I've tried several days in a row with the same issue, and emailed mode 7 about a week ago. Still no reply. Don't know what to do at this point.

Have you tried to log in to another server? You probably use UK1 normally, can you log in Texas for example (requires you to make new account)?

I tried and can't just get stuck on the login screen once again.

Ok, it sounds like your FS just can't connect to the internet at all. Have you checked your firewall settings and tested if you can log in with your firewall disabled completely?

Weird, that was it. It's not even in my list of blocked programs though so I don't know how to prevent it from blocking it without perma-disabling my firewall.
