Can you suggest any similar games except Breach&Clear and Door Kickers? Swat themed or army themed in general

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel comes to mind. The old Jagged Alliance are also very high regarded by I've never played them personally.
I've also very much enjoyed a little known game called Shadow Watch, but it is quite hard to find nowdays.

ArmA tactics is a direct port from the tablet world. I have it, and as much as I love the ArmA series, I have to caution against it. Another turn based tactical game that I enjoyed is "X-Com: Enemy Unkown". It combines the aforementioned tactical combat, with building your base as you try and research technology to fight aliens. I thoroughly enjoyed X-Com, and was looking for something similar when I came across Frozen Synapse.

Lasersquad Nemesis is by far the closest thing to this game I have played. Simultaneous turns. Although I haven't tried Doorkickers. XCOM Enemy Within/Unknown is one of my fav games I;ve ever played, but it is not simultaneous turns like Lasersquad and FS.

XCOM for sure, but the randomness can get to you sometimes
