Need to insert discs ????

everytime I open the game, it tells me to insert a disc, but I don't have any discs. so can anyone help me please?

same here played COH for a long time went with steam awhile ago and used to play all the time NOW after I re-installed windows 10 and downloaded steam COH does not work properly with or without disks? Have to buy a STEAM version of COH?

bro, I bought it from Steam Store, and I get the same problem.

wonder if its a temporary problem. Installed and un-installed steam a couple of times. Its listed in my library but if I do get into the game does not run properly or freezes before I get into the game?

I've played the game before on steam but uninstalled the game a while ago.

I wanted to try it a few days ago and ran into this puzzling problem. Maybe I need to go through my boxes to find the discs... ;)

Which version of CoH do you have installed? might be that it wont run if only legacy version.. normal one is multi so install that instead of legacy might help

bro, forget about it, I don't play that damn game anymore, I have now CoH2 and other better games.

Origianally bought the game in 2006. Have COH, opposing fronts, and tales of valor. Used to play with dics and then steam came along a couple years back. I could play without disc through steam just fine. Had to re-instal windows 10 and then steam. The game was listed in my library and installed through steam. Tried to install both ways through steam and just with the discs just wont play right oh well too bad.

It works for me if I start up the non-"legacy" or original version through the Steam Library. I also have the Europe at War mod installed and it works with it too.

4/18/2018 Still cannot get COH to start up in steam? Cant undedrstand what happened used to play in steam all the time? Tried to reinstall steam and reinstall COH still will NOT start up?

For those of you experiencing problems in CoH after this latest windows update go into the game directory and find RelicCOH.exe. Create a shortcut to that file. In properties of the shortcut go under compatibility. Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations." Hit "Apply" then "Ok". Run the shortcut." This worked for me with black screen, give it a try, I couldnt find RelicCOH.exe. I just had RelicCOH and it worked. Good luck... this was posted by someone else, forgot the name, but it worked! Game runs fine NOW!
