Game won't start

I just bought the game, and tried starting it up but it won't start. I even restarted my computer, and also redownloaded steam, and it still won't work.

I'm having the same problem. It comes up with a message saying that the app is already running but there's nothing running in Steam. I'm getting really frustrated now as I can't play it. I've done the same as you and I can't get anywhere

same here... looks like it depends on hardware, because on another machine everything works.

It turned out that it was my graphics driver that needed replacing and it works perfectly now. Check your graphics settings or if there's any problems with it.

This PC is brand new, so idk what the issue might be in my case.

What graphics driver are you using? Do you know? Maybe it just requires an update

what worked for me was to delete my setting.bin file in the game install folder then restart the game I was running a different resolution on two wide screens and when down to a smaller 1920x1080 screen was the only thing that worked for me good luck
