I can bombard do ranged attacks and play normally in strategic view but...

I'm experiencing all the problems with the new patch that most users are.

If as soon as I start the game I go to strategic view, I can play normally. But I have to stay there. If I end the turn out of strategic view or quit the game and try to load it, the game terminally freezes. It's inconvenient, but in the meantime while the patch is fixed you should be able to play new games in strategic view.
