Which Default CIV leader is most "Controversial"?
as in i know they couldn't release Stalin and friends, but of the official ones, which one can be considered most controversial? maybe due to total death on their hands and such

Alexander. The biggest forum arguments have been about him.

Well, you can't get more bloddy than Genghis, but he is almost mandatory as a Civ leader.

So they put Genghis, who probably has the biggest kill list in real life.... but they have reservations of guys like Stalin or Mao? does Genghis and Alex get a free pass because they are "so ancient"?

The collective memories of Genghis and Alex have faded away.

Mao and Stalin, on the other hand, their actions still echo in todays world.

Funny that they had Mao in Civilization Revolution though

Does Lincoln/Davis count since they're in the scenarios? If not than i'd say the iroqoi. Had a multiplayer game with them east of the U.S... the manifest destiny talks were lit XD

Speaking of more current civ leaders...Do Ghandi's kids get royalties from this game?

The original Civ had Stalin as the Russian leader.

I believe it also had Mao but I might be remembering wrong.

Both Stalin and Mao were in the first one. From what I could find Stalin was dropped in the next two games, put back in Civ 4, and then dropped again from Civ 5. Mao was in all of them until 5.

I don't know which of those leaders are in Civ 6, nor do I care to.

I still don't know what Gandhi actually has to do with Civ. He was more of the ' be nice to eachother ' guy and not the ' Let's have a competition' guy
Lickmajora Feb 20, 2018 @ 12:48pm
hahah, so true about Gandhi... that's like have Mother Teresa as a civ leader... it's so funny when Ghandi is researching SAMs and Artillery and Guided Missles or worse
