Is there a roadmap for this EA game? And where is the dev? - normally the dev want to listen and debate the game and the development with the players in an Early Access.

Hi, i love the graphic style of this game and it attract me to play but, before thinking about a purchase i wanted to know if this game is like Don't Starve or is different ? What i need to know is if you die you have to restart all from beginning or you can save your progress ? Or at least there are levels and once you reached a level if you die you can restart from last level only ? I hope it will give chances to save in some way otherwise i have to pass, thanks to devs for answers....
