2. No. No it is not even close to a disadvantage in competitive. The delay is minimal (3-4 seconds) meaning if you buy quickly you'll have your gun before the round starts amd B) you don't need to have your weapon to move meaning you can still rush the b bombsite while waiting for it to "update" meaning 0 disadvantage.
It is a stupid bug, but cs go has MANY stupid bugs and unlike bhopping, they aren't welcomed (cough cough cl_righthand 0 cough this cough mac crashes cough cough)
For me, I get the weapons the millisecond I buy them, the only time I have to wait is the cycle time for the weapon to cycle into ready position.
Check so your internet does not suffer from packetloss. If the purchase packets from your client to server is getting lost all the time, the purchase will not go through (weapon spawn in your hands) before the client get the packet to the server, and resending that packet a couple of time can take quite a time.
Try pinging ping.sunet.se (Start -> CMD, then write "ping ping.sunet.se" then enter)
Packet loss SHOULD be 0%. If you consistently, at different times at day, get a higher value than 0%, its time to talk to your ISP. The problem is then not the game, its your ISP then.
Packet loss is, in small quanities, now we talking about a couple of packets per day, is quite normal on the internet. However, consistently getting packetloss is NOT normal, and can have severe effect on your internet connection quality. Causes for packet loss can for example be a dodgy ADSL line between your house and your local DSLAM, for example a corroded copper line.
Packet loss may make you suffer from lag spikes too, so if you get lag spikes occasionally while playing, thats packet loss. Also, if you notice that you have inconsitent load times when browsing the internet, that may be because of packetloss to. For example, if webpages sometimes takes ages to load, thats because TCP is resending lost packets.
