Honestly, I'd either go for the low-end knife you probably won't like, or take the money and buy some gun skins that you think will retain value, and hang on to them to eventually trade up for a knife you really want. The cases are as good of an investment as the wishing well at the mall.

yes with liek 58 for case if your not lucky you can have liek 10$ worth skin with all case
