Banned 7 days for bad internet

I just got banned yesterday for 7 days because i am getting fiber and my internet was messing up, why in the hell do i get banned because i DC?? And 7 days?? Give me some slack pls.. Its not my fault that i DC.. funny that we won the game anyways..

Ofcourse people should be punished if they disconnect. Don´t play if you feel that your internet is wierd, you´ll just mess it up for your team. Plus you must have gotten several bans before that 7 day ban.

2. Valve can't lift the cooldown since it's an automated system.
3. Enjoy 1 week without competitive.

They aren't banning you for bad internet. They're banning you for disconnecting. Just like if I'm playing a match and my whole team abandons me because we're losing, they should be punished right? How is Valve supposed to tell the difference between bad internet and someone disconnecting their internet?

They have to temporarily ban people leaving the matches, there is no argument.
