CS:GO can be played with less specs. Will you have some issues, maybe. Can you play with everything turned up, maybe not. But will you be able to play the game yes.

FPS also depends on your personal setup of that system. It depends on background processes and how up todate your drivers are, config settings and so up.

I don't see any reason why you can get above 30 FPS easy with that setup.
Above 30 fps?

yes higher than, more than, not less than.
ye

I got that processor and I can jerk off to pron and play CSGO at the same time
10/10 would recommend
Working on all options maxed out (AntiAliasing is off, though :D:),
1920x1200 display resolution (stable 90 fps, capped at 70 fps):
  • Intel Core2Quad Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz
  • 8GB DDR2 RAM @ 800 MHz
  • nVidia geForce GTX280 @ 602 MHz (GPU), 1197 MHz (GDDR3 vRAM)
All clock rates are the default rates. :fire:

You should be safe to use your PC on any 64 tick server with unlimited player numbers.
For example, all official Valve servers are 64 tick. :csgoct:

However, if you play with 128 tick rates then more than 5 vs 5 players or if host your local 128 tick game ("Offline with BOTs") then even 5 vs 5 players will give you stuttering. :csgohelmet:

This is the limit of what this CPU can handle, in my experience. :csgocross:

Many community servers are running on 128 tick, you may set your rates accordingly:
// Display Framerate Limit fps_max "71" fps_max_menu "31" // Network Settings rate "128000" cl_cmdrate "128" cl_updaterate "128" // Clientside Interpolation Settings cl_interp "0" cl_interp_ratio "1" cl_interpolate "1"
If you are playing on a lower tick rate server, your CS:GO client will adapt those. :csgostar:

For competitive play, you should be safe with it. :B1:

I use Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3GHz and Nvidia GTX 275 and I have 33 to 75 FPS with all setting high, 4x antialiasing, 16 anisotropic filtering...

I use a E8400 @ 4.00 Ghz and a 750 Ti with video options all in minimum except shadows in low and anti aliasing 4x and I have 130 fps stable
