How do you get demoted?

So I'm just a silver trying to get out of the ranks of bots. Seriously though, everywhere I go, it's always me on the bad team and the enemy team all being decent. My team usually looks like they're using a controller (i'm not even joking). Just make it short; their completely like bots on medium mode.


BUT ANYWAY, recently, i've played a lot of competitive games, losing 3/4 of them. I just got demoted down a rank. Is this really how you get demoted? By losing many games and winning only 1/4 of them? If so, that's going to be hard for me to even get to NOVA.


I'm always stuck with bots on my team, and smurfs on the other lol.

Play with friends, simple.

Not only with friends, but play tacticly. (since CS:GO is all about team-work and tactics..)

Search on YouTube how to throw perfect smokes and when to use flash when to fall back or rush. that will help you. and most omportant thing: never screw around with team-mates. no joke shots to the head at the start of each round no team killing (try to avoid it..) no rush because you don't want to play anymore and finish it fast. hope it helps you..

And no you will de-rank after loosing in a row. ( not sure about how many times. )

Why don't you ask the enemy team to be your friends, and play with them if they are so decent?

Playing solo you need to step up and make a difference, with 0.61 K/D it doesn't seem to happen.

Dude i was waiting for some of my friends to buy this game on sale. I heard so much about hackers and cheaters - always wanted to check this out. I played 3 games on my friend account. As unranked, 2 times as silver II. I normaly play as guardian II and I have no problem to rank up even if i lose 2 in row. So ...
1) Unranked game
-People think that this is dm. They are crazy. I didn`t wanted to spoil game so i was doing k/d 1.0 only. I needed to shoot around people for about 2 sec so they can kill me. They don`t know how to reload, change weapons, etc. They think that you rush as ct on dust II.
2) Playing as silver II
This is even more crazy. In two games i had cheaters and hackers boosting their team. In my team there was like about 2 people that undarstand game, and 2 total bots. People rage quit, sing, call you noob on microphone. Mostly kids.
Dust II game:
-after four rounds i saw that someone is boosting other team. I think his rank was also somewhere in guardian. I felt bad about my teammates getting such bad score, and stepped up my game. I tried to learn my team how to make split a, smoke ct resp mid to b, etc. Some of people just dosen`t care - thay want to play deathmatch in mm. 2 people didn`t accept that this is teamplay. Draw.
Nuke:
-Playing against 2 guys with WH and their team. My team plays 3 outside, 1 a (me), 1 b (not ramp, bs b). Lost this game so bad that it still hurts me ;-)

In my opionion silver is worst rank, becouse you almost always get 2 people that don`t understand and don`t want to learn competetive. So you will never win this 5 in row games to rank up.

You need play this game with friends (serious players) and train your aim bc rank dont gifted

If you're good you should usually carry your entire team with experience in competitive, especially with silvers. But yes as mentioned above, play with friends.
